Thanks lil sis for the first comment! Interesting question, because although Syracuse lost its backcourt of Michael Carter Williams and Brandon Triche, the remaining pieces have a lot of length. Jim Boheim sometimes have a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde quality. Outsiders worried about how they finished last Big East season. They got embarrassed at Madison Square Garden at the hands of Louisville. However, the team bounced back and got a Final Four entry. I expect a similar narrative this season. They’ll struggle in their ACC debut in the regular season. However, the frontline of C.J. Fair, Jerami Grant, and Baye Moussa Keita will give smaller teams issues. The X Factor will be native Upstater DaJuan Colemean. If he can bang down low for baskets with the aforementioned players, it would give Rackeem Christmas even more freedom to branch out and continue providing that 3-point threat. Long story, short: I predict the Orange finish the season 29-7 overall.
